    SmokeMan Spicy Rub (by Smokeman Hardy)

    This Rub can be used on pork, beef, chicken, fish, and many other meats. It is spicy, with a bit of heat, but not too much for most people. You can use it for grilling, smoking, and just as a stand alone spice. If you want to cut down the heat, leave out the ground chipotle pepper:)

    Rub Ingredients:
    1/4 c paprika
    1/4 c ground pepper
    1/4 c kosher or sea salt
    1/2 c brown sugar
    1/4 tspn. ground chipotle pepper (optional for heat lovers)
    1 tbsp. ginger
    2 tbsp. cumin
    2 tbsp. garlic powder
    2 tbsp. onion powder
    1/4 tspn. cayenne pepper (optional for heat lovers)

    I used it on ribs in this picture, and they came out great. Try it on chicken, fish, beef, or anything that runs, crawls, swims r flies. My older son likes it, but no spice for the little guy....Kids!

    • Use a coffee filter funnel to put the rub in an old jar....When you make it from scratch, you no what is really int it! Change the ingredients to your favorites!
